Breakfast and After School Club

We offer wrap-around care as follows:

Breakfast Club: Daily from 8.00 - 8.45am.

After-School Club: Mon - Thurs from 3.15 - 5pm, Fri from 3.15 - 4pm

Breakfast Club

Available to all children of North Scarle Primary School (other than Little Learners Pre-School), however places are limited. Children can be dropped off from 8.00am at a charge of £4.50 per session. Children can enjoy a healthy breakfast from a range of choices throughout the week, including a variety of cereals, fruit, toast, waffles, pancakes and more. The morning is a fun, relaxed experience filled with food, games and friends. We even offer an early drop-off option at 8.30am for just £1.

Places must be booked and paid for in advance (a week ahead) via the school's ParentMail system. Please see Mrs Palmer in the school office for further information. We can often accept late bookings, but this will incur an additional late charge (see policy). We try to provide the best service for all our families: in the case of emergency drop-offs please call the school (01522 778724).

Our breakfast club supervisor, Mrs Morrison, will collect children from the side gate at 8.00am. Children requiring an early drop-off will need to ring the door bell at 8.30am, entering via the school office.

After-School Club

This is operated and run by our school. We aim to provide a safe, secure and fun environment with a variety of activities to reflect the interests of the children. Each day has a main activity focus, but each session also includes opportunities for outdoor play, iPads, art, construction (Lego) etc.

The charge of £3.75 per child from 3.15-4pm or £7.50 from 3.15-5pm covers the cost of childcare, a choice of snack and a drink.

Teachers rotate running a club during the year. Before the start of a new term, the teacher taking the lead will share the main activity via the school Newsletter.

The lead member of staff will release children to parents at 4pm and 5pm via the side gate. This changes to the school office during the darker nights. We politely request the parents/carers do not collect children other than these times as staff continue to work and there is not the capacity within the school to keep answering the door.

Places must be booked and paid for in advance (a week ahead) via the school's ParentMail system. Please see Mrs Palmer in the school office for further information. We can often accept late bookings, but this will incur an additional late charge (see policy). We try to provide the best service for all our families: in the case of emergency late pick-ups, please call the school (01522 778724).
