Little Learners Preschool

At North Scarle Primary School we pride ourselves in getting to know the children and their interests. We recognise that all children are different and learn in different ways with different interests.  From the first day children start with us they can expect an excellent education and they will thrive in our caring, family focused atmosphere and well planned learning environment. We can offer small sized groups, within a mixed age classroom where the older children are keen to support and guide the younger children.

In Little Learners we can offer the children the best possible start through a stimulating, practical and exciting curriculum, rooted in excellent early years practice.  We believe that children learn best when they are motivated through a wide range of challenging and enjoyable activities.  We carefully build on what children know and can do already and help them to achieve their next steps of learning.

Within our EYFS class children in Little Learners are apart of our wider school family and have the same opportunities to join in with PE, whole school assemblies, day trips and activities. We have a dedicated classroom with large inside and outside space, with high quality resources which are easily accessible, Children are encouraged to be independent to access all areas of our classroom.

We work with parents and other professionals to ensure the best possible care and education for your child, we meet the needs of all children, including those with Special educational needs.

Miss McConnell is our Early years teacher, she has worked at North Scarle for 8 years and trained in Early childhood Studies before becoming a teacher. Our lovely Teaching Assistants (TA’s) have years of knowledge and experience working with children and are always updating their knowledge and understanding.

We are very proud of our school and the standard of care and education we provide. We believe children’s individual wellbeing is paramount and we ensure that children feel safe, secure and happy so that they can choose to be successful and reach their full potential.

We welcome visits to our classroom at any time of the year - please just get in touch or come along to our weekly Stay and Play sessions.
