Friends of North Scarle School
Who are the Friends of North Scarle Primary School?
We are parents, grandparents, teachers and members of the local community who want to help raise all important funds for our children and the school.
What is the purpose of the Friends of the school group?
To advance the education of pupils in the school, in particular by; developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and engaging in activities or equipment which supports the school and pupils.
With this fundraising we have been able to provide additional resources, equipment and trips for the children:
- Outdoor canopy for Class 2
- Gazebo
- Trips and visitors
- Birds of Prey Displays
- School Library resources
- Christmas Pantomime trip for the whole school
- Trim Trail
We can't do this without YOUR help!
How you can help
We meet around once a month to discuss upcoming fundraising events. We welcome everyone and anyone to our meetings and would love to see some new faces. Even if you can't make the meetings we always welcome new ideas and suggestions, and are always looking for helpers at our existing successful events such as the Family Bingo, Duck Race and Summer Gala. We try to keep volunteer slots to an hour when possible, so you too can enjoy the event with your family.
How do I become a volunteer?
Simply look out for dates of upcoming meetings these are notified on Class Dojo or on the Friends of School noticeboard. Or alternatively speak to Mrs Durant Good, Head Teacher or Mr Richard Foster, Friends Chair in the playground or email abbie.palmer@northscarleprimary.co.uk and we will get you in touch.
If we join together we can make a real difference!
